Writing
I am available for freelance writing assignments, and specialize in travel, surf, culture, sustainability and stories with a local focus. I have worked both on-staff and as a contributor for a number of publications in English, Italian and Spanish. I am comfortable writing in a concise journalistic style, as well as in a less formal narrative prose-style.
Translation
I am available for translations from Spanish to English, and specialize in tourism and travel. I hold a Master of Translating and Interpreting and I am certified by NAATI (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters).
Research
I am available for research assignments. I have years of experience mining, aggregating, cross-referencing and cataloging data, first in my academic career with the thesis for my Masters in International Relations – Myth and Mexico: The Link Between Culture and Foreign Policy – and later as a research assistant for esteemed sociolinguistics professor Paulin Djité.
